Practically nothing happens without a story being told: Crime series, novels, and so on, sure! — but also car brands, underwear commercials, even war or peace, our own families, the distant future, or simply the next holiday plan — initially, everything is just a story we tell ourselves. (“With these knickers, you’ll be seriously sexy,” and so on…)

But what is truly real?

Somewhere between flying blind and maximal overconfidence, the “Konsortium Luft und Tiefe” (Consortium Air and Depth) plunges into a whirlpool of strange tales, baseless assertions, fairy tales, and myths. They risk conflicts and unpredictable abysses, occasionally rescue themselves with emotional songs, find surprising ways out, and all the while relentlessly tell the truth, or lie through their teeth.

We invite you to a humorous, utterly bonkers, and poetic open-air theatre evening — full of stories and how they determine every moment of our existence, and how crucial it is what we tell ourselves and what of it we believe.
