No, that’s not it yet, the miraculous exercise that might heal what’s broken, soothe what hurts – it’s a moment of taking stock, which might bring insights to light that at least bring clarity. About whatever.

A comedy about everyday questions that deliberately starts where we all sit laughing and ask ourselves:

Is this about saving face or preserving a marriage?

Who is actually to blame for the way things are, or better yet, for what led to this now?

Is it really about getting out of the dilemma or just getting out of the therapy session unscathed?

We are secret observers of a couples therapy session in which a woman and a man want (or should want) to resolve their problems with the help of a counselor. Whether this can succeed depends, as so often in life, on the willpower invested in each case. SHE always knows in advance what he would say and doesn’t skimp on examples and endless rambling. HE blatantly expresses his displeasure and acceptance of the status “well, so-so” by ignoring his wife and generally showing reservations about therapy.
